Depending on the state, you might need to provide the name of your Registered Agent on the Articles of Organization, or on an additional form such as a Statement of Information.
    4. File the Articles of Organization Online: Once you have all the information collected and you know your business name and Registered Agent, you need to officially file the Articles of Organization/Certificate of Formation for your business. This document needs to be filed with the state regulatory authorities (usually the Secretary of State for your state).
